God Is With You

God Is With You in Every Season

“Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. Potiphar, … bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him there. The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master” (Gen. 39:1–2) .

Joseph’s life changed overnight. Once cherished by his father, he was now a slave in a foreign land. Stripped of his freedom and family, he had every reason to feel forgotten. Yet Scripture declares, “The Lord was with Joseph.” That single truth reframes the entire story.

God’s presence is not limited by location or circumstance. Even in Egypt, even in chains, Joseph prospered—not because of his surroundings, but because of who was with him. God’s favoUr rested on him, and that made all the difference.

This is a powerful reminder for us. You may find yourself in a place you didn’t choose—facing hardship, transition, or uncertainty. But God has not abandoned you. His presence is your anchor. Like Joseph, you can thrive even in unfamiliar territory when you walk with God.

Beloved, Joseph didn’t allow bitterness to take root. He served faithfully, and God honoured his diligence. When we remain faithful in hard places, God’s favour finds us. Don’t wait for perfect conditions to live purposefully. God is with you now.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for being with me in every season. When I feel lost or alone, remind me that your presence is my strength. Help me to trust you, serve faithfully, and walk in your favour, just as Joseph did. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
