God’s Protection Is Forever
“You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked.” (Psalm 12:7)
David ends with assurance: God will keep the needy safe and protect His people forever. This is not a temporary promise—it is eternal. As we begin the year, this verse offers deep comfort.
In a world where evil seems to flourish and the vulnerable are often at risk, God’s protection is our hope. He watches over us, not just for a moment, but for a lifetime. His care is not seasonal—it is steadfast.
This year, let us rest in His covering. When we feel exposed or afraid, let us remember that we are not alone. God surrounds us with His presence. He is our shield, our refuge, and our defender.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for Your eternal protection. Keep me safe and strengthen my trust in you this year. Let me walk in peace, knowing I am held in your hands. Amen.
