The Blessing of Unmerited Favour
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.” (Phil. 4:23)

Paul closes with a blessing. Grace is the unmerited blessing of God, the foundation of our salvation, and the strength for daily living. To have grace with our spirit means to live continually in the awareness of Christ’s love and empowerment. It sustains us when we are weak, forgives us when we fall, and equips us to serve faithfully. This final blessing reminds us that the Christian life begins and ends with this blessing.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, may your blessing of unmerited favour be with my spirit daily. Strengthen me with your love and empower me to live faithfully in you. Amen.
