Faithful Support
“Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only.” (Phil. 4:15)

Paul highlights the unique generosity of the Philippians. While others withheld support, they faithfully partnered with him in the gospel. Their giving was not merely financial—it was spiritual partnership. This teaches us that generosity is a vital part of ministry. When we support God’s work, we share in its fruit. The Philippians’ example challenges us to be consistent in generosity, even when others are reluctant. True partnership in giving reflects love, faith, and commitment to Christ’s mission.

Prayer: Lord, make me a faithful partner in Your work. Help me to give consistently and joyfully, sharing in the blessings of the gospel. Amen.
