Rejoice Always

Joy in the Lord
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Phil. 4:4)

Joy is not optional—it is commanded. Paul repeats the call to rejoice, emphasizing its importance. This joy is not dependent on circumstances but on the Lord’s presence. To rejoice always is to cultivate gratitude, trust, and hope, even in hardship. Joy strengthens our spirit and testifies to the world that Christ is enough. It is a discipline that transforms our outlook and draws us closer to God. Rejoicing is not denial of pain but recognition of God’s goodness in every season. When we choose joy, we declare that Christ is greater than our trials. Joy is contagious—it inspires others and glorifies God.

Prayer: Lord, fill my heart with joy that transcends circumstances. Teach me to be joyful in you daily, finding strength and hope in Your presence. May my joy be contagious, pointing others to Your goodness. Amen.
