Small Beginnings
“It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth.” (Mark 4:31)
Jesus compares the kingdom of God to a mustard seed—tiny, almost insignificant in appearance. Yet within that small seed lies immense potential. This teaches us that God often begins His work in small, humble ways. A simple act of faith, a quiet prayer, or a small step of obedience can grow into something far greater than we imagine. We must not despise small beginnings, for God delights in using them to accomplish His purposes. The kingdom grows not by human strength but by divine power.
Prayer: Lord, help me to value small beginnings. Teach me to trust that even the smallest acts of faith can grow into something mighty when you are at work.
