Tears of Separation
Scripture: “Then she kissed them goodbye and they wept aloud and said to her, ‘We will go back with you to your people.’” (Ruth 1:9–10)
Reflection: Naomi’s farewell brought tears. Love often requires painful partings. Orpah and Ruth wept aloud, showing the depth of their bond. Yet God heals broken ties and directs each path. Separation is not the end of His story. Sometimes God calls people to different journeys, but His purposes remain good. The tears of parting remind us of the value of relationships and the pain of change. Yet even in separation, God’s love binds hearts together.
Prayer: Lord, comfort me in separation. Bind my heart with Your love and remind me that You hold every relationship in Your hands.
